Health and Safety Officer (Part Time)

Archemics is an established manufacturing company, specialising in the production, marketing, sales and distribution of household and industrial detergents and cosmetics, industrial and consumer adhesives as well as textile auxiliaries.

We are recruiting an experienced Health & Safety Officer (part time basis) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure that the occupational health and safety management system is aligned with group health and safety policies as well as the specific requirements and strategy of the company.

The ideal candidate shall:

• have at least 3 years’ experience in occupational safety & health at operational level in a similar work environment with knowledge of relevant health and safety statutory requirements, regulations, codes of practice and guidelines, and the ability to translate and apply these to a work environment

• demonstrate professional communication skills with ability to influence decisions at management level

• show enthusiasm and passion to work as part of a team

Knowledge in systems such as OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and 14001 will be an advantage.
