Our Client a well reputed international firm is looking for a Team Leader – Marketing Operations Team.

 

Reporting to the Senior Product Marketing Manager  based in London. The Marketing Operations Team Leader, will be responsible for overseeing a dynamic team engaged in various aspects of marketing, including design, copywriting, digital marketing, and video production, for both internal and external audiences, including learning and development initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a multi-disciplinary team comprising designers, copywriters, digital marketers, and video producers.
    • Set clear goals and expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes creativity and innovation.
    • Develop individual growth plans and provide opportunities for professional development and skills enhancement.

 

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • In conjunction with the Senior Product Marketing Manager, collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Managers, Client Services, Sales, Marketing, HR, learning and development teams, and senior leadership, to understand their communication needs and develop strategic marketing materials to support them.
    • In conjunction with the Senior Product Marketing Manager, develop comprehensive marketing campaigns and initiatives that effectively communicate key messages to internal and external audiences, aligning with organisational objectives.
    • Oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, brand guidelines and quality standards.

 

  • Content Creation and Brand Management:
    • Provide guidance and creative direction to ensure all marketing collateral, including design assets, copywriting, digital content, and videos, reflect the organisation's brand identity and values.
    • Write clear, concise, and engaging copy that effectively communicates the features, benefits, and value propositions of our complex products and solutions.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, researcher and technical teams to understand product specifications, functionality, and competitive differentiation.
    • Translate technical information and industry jargon into language that is accessible and compelling to a non-technical audience.
    • Develop content for marketing materials, including website copy, product descriptions, landing pages, blog posts, and marketing collateral.
    • Use storytelling techniques to illustrate the value and benefits of our products in real-world scenarios.
    • Review and approve content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand guidelines.
    • In conjunction with the Senior Product Marketing Manager, continuously optimise content based on feedback, data insights, and industry best practices.

 

  • Performance Monitoring and Optimisation:
    • In conjunction with the Senior Product Marketing Manager, monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketing initiatives, including engagement metrics, conversion rates, and ROI.
    • Use data-driven insights to identify areas for optimisation and improvement and implement strategies to enhance performance.
    • Conduct regular A/B testing and experimentation to refine messaging, design elements, and digital marketing strategies.

 

 

 

Candidate Profile:

  • Product or marketing experience, combining value-based messaging, technical expertise and design skills
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, such as CRM systems(Salesforce), analytics tools, and marketing automation software(Eloqua), Content Management Systems(SiteCore).
  • Ability to draw conclusions from data and make recommendations on maximising campaign ROI
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling, clear, and concise copy that resonates with the target audience.
  • Strong storytelling abilities and the capacity to simplify complex concepts into easy-to-understand messaging.
  • Ability to multitask and handle work situations with the necessary skills and diplomacy to produce effective outcomes
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, with a focus on design, copywriting, digital marketing, and video production.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Qualification in marketing, communications, IT, media and/or related discipline
  • Fluent in English with strong oral, presentation and written communication skills
