Our Client is seeking to recruit a HR Consultant for its operation. The candidate will be responsible for providing human resource support by partnering with management to execute initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

. Comply with and maintain through knowledge of HR practices, legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance

. Interpret policy as it relates to employee relations discipline

. Provide human resource generalist support to business unit

. Analyse HR key metrics, exit interview data and survey/focus group data to report findings, identify areas of opportunity and recommended solutions

. Coach employees and managers through disciplinary action processes

. Responds to inquiries and regarding policies, procedures, programs, issues and employee relations situations

. Implement HR projects: Talent management, compensation and benefits etc. Conducts investigations as appropriate and maintain impeccable documentation

. Coordinate and participate in employee advisory board meetings

. Ensure fair and balanced resolution to employee issues emerge

. Conducts training sessions, focus groups, skip level meetings

. Develop meeting notes and address issues and concerns as appropriate

. Recommend course of action based in findings

 

Profile:

. Bachelor's degree in a related field required

. Master's degree preferred or equivalent combined education and experience

. 4+ years in human resources with a concentration and emphasis in employee relations

. Proven experience resolving employee relations issues and knowledge of employment law

. Experience in using SICORAX payroll and/or web technology system preferred

. Proficiency in all Microsoft products especially, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

. Effective presentation, persuasion, communication and interpersonal skills

. Demonstrate knowledge of local prevailing employment legislation

. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well in teams and diverse employee groups

. Ability to quickly build trust and creditability with all levels of employees and develop a reputation for impeccable integrity, trustworthiness, wise judgement and confidentiality
