Group Financial Analyst
Working days and hours:
Monday to Saturday
8:30 - 5:00
Our client is seeking to recruit a full-time Group Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis (SFA) who shall navigate between the various country reporting requirements.
The ideal candidate will thrive on the uncertainty and add credibility through communication and impact. They have to be assertive, collaborative and technically savvy. The SFA will report to the Group CFO.
The primary functions of the SFA, FP&A, will involve:
• Building out the Financial Planning and Analysis function alongside the Group CFO with a focus on data driven decision making.
• Owning the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting functions of the group of companies alongside senior management.
• Preparing and presenting the monthly consolidated financial reports with explanations on variances against budget and prior year.
• Partner with business unit leaders in the various countries to prepare revenue reports and lead forecasts highlighting any major risks to plan.
• Evaluating expense lines variances and making recommendations to the senior management.
• Participating in monthly financial ops review meetings and driving discussions on variances; and
• Participating in strategic business initiatives such as preparing business cases for new business lines.
• Analyze financial data, variances, and trends to support FM with management decisions
• Support external audits with accurate and timely information.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• ACCA or similar certification.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical roles in a multicurrency environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with ADVANCED skills in MS Excel.
• Strong pro-active characteristics and a customer-centric attitude; and
• Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
