KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead the implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of business applications, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and associated cloud solutions. 

  • Manage the full application lifecycle from requirement gathering, planning, implementation, testing, and deployment through to support and optimisation. 

  • Ensure effective cross-application workflows, API-based integrations, and secure data exchange between systems (ERP, CRM, HRMS, PowerBI, etc.). 

  • Translate business needs into technical specifications, supporting application configuration and customisation in coordination with vendors and in-house resources. 

  • Manage the performance, development, and scheduling of the Business Applications team: 

  • Assign tasks and projects 

  • Monitor progress and deliverables 

  • Set individual and team KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews 

  • Provide mentoring and coaching to team members 

  • Oversee application support and training to end-users, ensuring a high standard of service and minimal disruption to business operations. 

  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks, application policies, documentation standards, and data integrity protocols. 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess digital requirements and recommend appropriate business solutions. 

  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage third-party service providers to ensure quality and timely deliverables. 

  • Lead and contribute to strategic digital transformation initiatives across departments. 

  • Prepare regular reports and insights on system usage, project delivery, and application performance for the Head of Technology and leadership team. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND OTHER PREREQUISITES 

 Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, Power BI) are highly desirable.  

Experience: 

  • 10+ years of experience in ERP and business applications implementation and support, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. 

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and cloud-based business applications. 

  • Strong background in API integration, system architecture, and workflow optimisation. 

  • Experience in managing teams, setting KPIs, scheduling work, and driving team performance. 

  • Proven success in leading full project lifecycles, managing change, and handling cross-functional business requirements.

  • Leadership and People Management: Capable of motivating, guiding, and evaluating a team. Strong organisational and delegation skills. 

  • Technical Acumen: Deep knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure) and modern integration practices (REST APIs, middleware, etc.). 

  • Analytical and Problem Solving: Strong ability to translate complex requirements into functional solutions. 

  • Project Management: Competent in Agile or hybrid project methodologies, resource planning, and deadline-driven execution. 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal and communication skills and change management skills,enabling seamless collaboration with both technical and non-technical audiences.  

  • User-Centric Mindset: Commitment to delivering high-quality, intuitive, and value-adding digital experiences for end users. 

  • Documentation and Governance: Ability to formalise processes, controls, and procedures with precision and clarity.
