Technical Printing Manager

As part of our continued growth and focus on quality and innovation, we are seeking an experienced Technical Printing Manager to lead and manage our printing operations in Madagascar.
What you will be doing:
- Oversee and manage all garment printing processes (including screen printing, pigment, reactive, discharge, digital or rotary printing, as applicable).
- Ensure technical excellence, consistency, and adherence to buyer specifications and quality standards.
- Lead, train, and develop the printing technical and production teams.
- Work closely with Product Development, Merchandising, Production, and Quality teams to ensure smooth execution from sampling to bulk production.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to printing, colour matching, defects, and fabric compatibility.
- Manage print approvals, strike-offs, and lab dips in line with customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and chemical management standards (including buyer and regulatory requirements).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve cost efficiency.
- Liaise with external suppliers for inks, chemicals, screens, and equipment.
What are we looking for?
- Degree or diploma in Textile Engineering, Printing Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in garment printing within the knits industry, with at least 3–5 years in a senior technical role.
- Strong technical knowledge of knitted fabrics and garment printing processes.
- Proven experience working with international buyers and quality standards.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in Madagascar or similar manufacturing regions will be an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a strong advantage.
