The Team Manager – Business Development leads and motivates a team to drive sales growth, expand the client base, set targets, and ensure client satisfaction while identifying new market opportunities and building strong stakeholder relationships.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To assist the Division Manager - Customer Innovation in the elaboration and implementation of the business plan of SIL.
  2. To seek new business for the organisation mainly from Government bodies/Para- Statal/Private organisations in areas of ICT solution development and maintenance, as well as consultancy and achieve sales targets.
  3. To prepare business proposals, devise the right commercial offers for SIL‘s products and services and help in the finalization of contracts.
  4. To prepare yearly Sales budget with the collaboration of other Managers.
  5. To develop Sales strategies to meet the sales budget.
  6. To prepare monthly Sales Report for Management.
  7. To perform market research as and when required and build market intelligence.
  8. To maintain the Sales and Marketing systems, Websites, Documentation and Marketing Literatures.
  9. To perform any other related activities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

A degree in the area of ICT or Sales and Marketing or any other acceptable qualifications to the Board with a minimum of 7 years’ experience qualification in a relevant field with 2 years’ experience in a team lead position or equivalent at project management level.

A master’s Degree would be an advantage.
