A guest relation officer works at the front desk or lobby of a hotel, welcoming and checking in guests and make sure they are comfortable. They're also accessible to address any queries or issues that customers may have.
- Provide the hotel information and services to guests.
- Ensure the guests receive services of high standards and satisfaction.
- Attend to guest requests enquiries and assist them when necessary.
- Work closely with the Front Desk in assisting with luggage, guide visitors, provide directions and arrange transportation.
- Provide directions and assistance to members and guests when performing lobby duties.
- Monitor the expected arrival list for the following day noting special requests, pick up times, group arrivals, early check in times and inform Housekeeping and Food Beverages Departments accordingly.
- Check the daily function list and brief the reception/concierge accordingly.
- Ensure that VIP rooms are ready and VIP courtesies are in place before their arrival.
