Software Developer Specialist
Job summary:
Develop application and component strategy in line with the business strategy for Operations processes. Bake technology trends into solutions. Architect the development strategy for applications and components. Manage one or multiple development streams in line with overall program(s) timing and milestones. Manage overall deployment plan and schedule. Implement and set security and data direction for the coding work. Understand business drivers that will impact performance. Ensure maintenance activities are in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or other business requirements. Provide technical expertise and guidance to developers and support team. Design application or technical architecture components using business requirements and secure stakeholders secure buy in. Build and leverage reusable code and libraries for future use. Lead code and quality management reviews
Key responsibilities:
This is a multi-faceted role requiring a breadth of skills:
- Project Management
- People Management
- Have deep knowledge of RPA and Microsoft technologies – VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, VBA, Automation Anywhere
- Have knowledge on DB Systems MSAccess, SQL
- Drive prioritization and coordination with internal teams
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle: feasibility through scoping, requirements definition through specification, implement and production support.
- Clarify and drive project priorities and commitments as well as establish clear chains of project management and accountability across multiple geographic locations.
- Effectively manage stake holder expectations of clients and resolve conflicts that balance vendor and internal needs for technical, implementation, and operational issues across BPO Operations.
- Effectively communicate and function within Accenture to gain required resources and appropriate management attention/support.
Qualifications
Bachelor in Computer Science / Software Engineer / Information Systems and/or Masters in Information Technology / Computer Science
Basic Requirements:
- Experience managing teams
- Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules
- Experience with project delivery for large, cross functional projects
- Experience managing programs in Internet products and technologies
- Experience communicating and handling cross functional programs.
- Candidates must be independent and flexible, with executive-level communication skills, a strong customer focus.
- Essential program management skills include collecting business requirements, reviewing specifications, analyzing cost/benefit of project selection, and communicating results throughout the organization
Preferred Requirements
- 8 years and above
- Excellent management experience handling a team of Automation Leads
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple business units
- Experience with agile or other program management methodologies
