Social Worker – Community Development & Cultural Engagement

We are seeking a dedicated and culturally responsive Social Worker to join our team in supporting individuals, families, and the broader community.

This role is integral to promoting social inclusion, facilitating access to essential services, and fostering cultural engagement through direct support and community-based programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for individuals and families

Provide counselling, crisis support, and referrals to health, housing, and welfare services

Advocate for the rights and well-being of marginalized and vulnerable populations, particularly children

Coordinate and implement community outreach initiatives and cultural engagement activities

Support day care operations, including child supervision, developmental play, and cultural storytelling

Cultural awareness and inclusive practice

Case management, advocacy, and ethical decision-making

Program planning and community mobilization

Proficiency in documentation, Microsoft Office, and digital communication platforms

Participate in pedagogical and other activities
