RRCL is recruiting a Senior Human Resources Officer to join its organization to manage the administration of HR activities, policies and procedures of the authority.
Key Responsibilties:
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Identifying staffing needs, sourcing and recruiting qualified candidates, managing the hiring process, and ensuring smooth onboarding of new employees.
- Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns, managing grievances, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Training and Development: Identifying training needs, developing and implementing training programs, and providing opportunities for employee growth and development.
- Performance Management: Overseeing performance appraisals, providing feedback, and ensuring high performance standards.
- Compensation and Benefits: Managing compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations.
- HR Strategy: Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
- Reporting and Analysis: Providing HR metrics and reports to management to support decision-making.
- Health and Safety: Working to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Developing, implementating and updating HR policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies.
- Experience in talent acquisition and management.
- Ability to manage performance and foster a positive work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
