To assist the Sales Manager with the day-to-day running of operations which include developing sales strategies and leading the sales team to achieve sales target.
KEY DUTIES:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Lead and motivate the Modern Trade sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Implement promotional strategies and ensure proper execution of in-store activations and product launches.
- Monitor brand visibility, shelf space, and product placement across key supermarket outlets.
2. Team Leadership & Coaching
- Supervise and guide Sales Officers and Merchandisers on trade, ensuring daily presence and performance coaching.
- Conduct regular performance reviews/on-site visits and provide feedback to enhance team efficiency and morale.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and store managers.
- Resolve client issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
4. Reporting & Analysis
- Track sales performance, analyze variances, and prepare reports for management review.
- Have a sound knowledge and tracking of competitors’ activities being held on trade Collaborate with IT for data-driven decision-making and reporting tools.
5. Operational Oversight
- Ensure timely execution of trade visits and adherence to daily schedules.
- Oversee merchandising standards and ensure compliance with company guidelines.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
