                            Under the supervision of the Sales & Marketing Manager – Leisure, you will play a key role in building and strengthening relationships with existing partners while actively identifying new business opportunities.
                         
                        Overview of the Role:
Under the supervision of the Sales & Marketing Manager – Leisure, you will play a key role in building and strengthening relationships with existing partners while actively identifying new business opportunities. You will contribute to driving revenue growth across our leisure portfolio, ensuring high levels of partner engagement, customer satisfaction, and alignment with the company’s commercial objectives.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new leisure experiences to expand the company’s portfolio.
- Collaborate with the Reservations team to support special booking requests and ensure seamless client service.
- Manage and nurture relationships with DMCs and other key partners, ensuring regular communication, performance follow-up, and alignment on offers, terms, and objectives.
- Identify and develop new revenue opportunities across relevant markets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales reports and documentation.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, leveraging data and insights to inform strategy.
- Work closely with DMCs, hotel representatives, and clients to follow up on sales leads and convert opportunities.
- Propose and help implement improvements based on customer feedback to continuously enhance performance and satisfaction.
- Understand the company’s key drivers and challenges, adapting actions proactively to align with industry evolution.
- Handle any additional tasks related to the commercial development of leisure activities within the group.
- Assist the Sales & Marketing Manager – Leisure Services in preparing commercial presentations, forecasts, and performance analyses.
- Support the implementation, tracking, and reporting of KPIs related to sales performance and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with other Business Units to identify and develop cross-selling opportunities, ensuring consistent communication of offers and experiences.
- Contribute to marketing and visibility initiatives by sharing market insights, photos, and content updates in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Represent the Leisure Sales Department during site inspections, familiarization trips, and coordination meetings with partners and internal teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in sales or business development within tourism or hospitality
- Good knowledge of the Mauritian leisure and travel market is a plus
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to results
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools
- Fluency in English and French; other languages an advantage
- Valid driver’s license required; own vehicle preferred.
