Sales Coordinator supports the sales and marketing team by handling administrative tasks, managing client inquiries, and coordinating event logistics to drive revenue

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Assistant Director of Sales & Sales Manager
  • Assist in building and maintaining client relationships, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and tour operators.
  • Identify and follow up on potential sales leads and business opportunities in both local and international markets.
  • Help prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients, ensuring alignment with brand standards and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor daily sales activities and contribute to achieving team targets and KPIs.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including reservations, revenue, and operations to ensure smooth execution of client requests and packages.
  • Participate in sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and familiarization trips. (at times it will be after the working hours)
  • Maintain accurate client records using CRM tools and generate periodic reports on sales performance and trends.
  • Represent the resort at local events, exhibitions, and trade shows when required.
  • Address guest and client feedback promptly and professionally to maintain high service standards.
  • Have a overall knowledge of MICE and assist the Sales manager to drive more MICE business to the hotel

Profile

  • Energetic and customer-focused individual with a passion for hospitality and sales.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury or resort setting.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and French; additional languages are an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM and hotel sales systems.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Motivated team player with a proactive approach and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales objectives.
  • Well-presented, confident, and able to represent the resort professionally at all times.
  • Valid driving license required, with willingness to travel for sales visits and client meetings.

Key responsibilities include creating proposals, maintaining customer databases, preparing sales reports, managing communication between clients and departments, and ensuring smooth execution of meetings and events. Strong communication, organization, customer service, and computer skills are essential for success in this role.
