LUX* Grand Gaube is recruiting a Reservation Clerk.
The successful incumbent will be responsible to:
•liaise with the Central Reservation Office to ensure that guest arrival and room allocation at the hotel is accurately and professionally carried out.
•Actively participates in the provision of excellent service to guests.
•Converses with guests to obtain feedback and suggestions for improvement.
•Verifies regularly that guest history and guest profile records are filled and accurately updated.
•Checks movements of the day on a daily basis.
•Provides effective assistance to guests during check-in and check-out.
•Complies with grooming and hygiene and with safety regulations and procedures as well as SOP at all times.
•Keep records of guests preferences.
•Ascertains that reservation files are received from the CRO 48 hours before the arrival of guests at the Hotel.
•Coordinates with all departments of the Hotel, so as to insert the likes and dislikes of guests in the guests history files and ensures that all guest information is clearly despatched to the relevant departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
•Minimum School Certificate (SC)
•NTC3 in Hotel Management.
•
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
•A minimum of 2 year of working experience in the Hotel Industry .
•A minimum of 2 - 4 years of working experience in frontline position.

•Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends as well as on public holidays.
