We are seeking a reliable and polyvalent Personal Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to a legal professional. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to handle a variety of tasks efficiently while always maintaining confidentiality.
Location: Northern Region (Mauritius)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 15:00
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Office-based with possibility of Work from Home)
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide administrative support including managing emails, calls, and correspondence
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and court dates
- Prepare, format, and file legal documents and reports
- Liaise with clients, courts, and other stakeholders professionally
- Maintain and organize filing systems (both physical and digital)
- Handle basic legal and administrative follow-ups
- Run occasional errands when required
- Assist with any ad hoc tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies :
- Residing in the Northern region
- Diploma/Degree in a related field
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
- Previous experience in a similar role (legal environment is an advantage)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Flexible and polyvalent mindset
