Our client is looking for a Payroll Accountant.
Role Summary:
The Payroll Accountant will report to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and will be responsible for the timely processing, verification, and reconciliation of employee payroll. The Payroll Accountant will also be supporting business as usual activities and will support the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager with ad hoc project work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Personnel updates into the Payroll System;
- Reconcile updates between VIP & EasyRoster;
- Manage queries from the business and employees;
- Ensure correct allocation of all staff;
- Provide Payroll reporting back to country management;
- Process and pay all employee payroll per country calendar;
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness to ensure meeting Service Levels;
- Follow corporate policies and procedures as defined for the role;
- Contribute to the maintenance of the Groups payroll accounts;
- Support Local HR/Operations with management of their payroll process.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent;
- 3 years Payroll support experience;
- Strong Understanding of timesheet driven payroll processes;
- Working Knowledge of a Payroll system eg SAGE VIP;
- Good competency in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel spreadsheet abilities;
- Fluent in written and spoken English;
- Excellent interpersonal skills being an effective communicator and listener with the ability to provide clear and precise explanations;
- Numerate, attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and efficiency when completing data entry tasks;
- Logical analytical approach with practical problem-solving skills;
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies and streamlining procedures.
