MAKE UP AND HAIR STYLIST

Responsible for providing a range of hair and makeup services to clients to enhance or achieve dramatic effects:

• Hair Styling using various styling techniques, including blow-drying, straightening, curling and setting hair for weddings, daily occasions, weddings and special events.
• Makeup applications for weddings, photoshoots, special events or daily occasions Haircoloring, highlighting and root dyes.
• Hair. scalp treatments and facials.
• Waxing.
• Manicure & Pedicure.
• Classic and Gel Nail Polish.
• Schedule appointments.
• Interact with Guests to explore achievement of objectives.
• Manage inventory and ensure constant availability of supplies.
• Keep updated on current hairstyles, make up and beauty trends.
• Provide daily sales summary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and products are sanitized and safe for use.
• Stay informed about the latest hair and makeup trends, techniques and products. Understand the properties and applications of different hair and makeup products, including their effects on various skin types and tones.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, provide excellent service, and encourage repeat business.
• Provide daily sales report.

Requirements

Technical

• Trade Certificate in hairdressing, makeup artistry and beauty care.
• 3+ years of experience as a Makeup Artist / Hair Stylist, including hair coloring, waxing, facials, manicure and pedicure.
• Strong knowledge of hair and makeup products and techniques.
• Ability to use various types of hair grooming tools, i.e., trimmers, scissors and beauty equipment
• Knowledge of color theory 

Skills

• Strong communication, customer service, time management and interpersonal skills and understanding of client's needs.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Eye for detail to ensure precision and accuracy in hair and makeup application Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple clients, and meet deadlines.
