The Maintenance Assistant will ensure installations, machinery and equipment are in good working conditions.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Perform inspection and maintenance work on all equipment and machinery (mainly hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing and building maintenance).
- Perform installation, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment (mainly hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, plumbing).
- Plan and perform preventive maintenance.
- Maintain adequate housekeeping and cleaning of work areas and equipment.
- Abide to the Safety & Health policies.
Skills:
- Plumbing, electrical, welding and general maintenance.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Holder of a School Certificate (SC) / Higher School Certificate (HSC)
- Holder of a "Brevet de Technicien" (BT) / "Brevet de Technicien Supérieur" (BTS) / NC Level 4 or alternative equivalent qualification.
- At least two (2) years' of relevant work experience.
- Experience in an industrial environment would be an advantage.
