Key Responsibilities

  • Transport containers safely and efficiently.

  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues.

  • Maintain driver’s logbook and record kilometers driven.

  • Comply with heavy vehicle road traffic regulations and company policies.

  • Apply defensive driving techniques at all times.

  • Report mechanical defects, accidents, or near misses.

  • Collect and verify delivery documents.

  • Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries.

  • Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions safely.

Profile

  • Minimum Certificate from Form 3.

  • Valid Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) driving license (no endorsements or recent violations).

  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and heavy vehicle mechanics.

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience.

  • Ability to read and understand work orders and document
