DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- To perform Desktop Support and End Users Support duties in the Computer Centre as directed by the Chief IT.

- These duties include, but are not limited to; logging calls in the Service Now IT ManagementSystem.

- IT System maintenance activities.

- Backups, restores and report printing.

- The IT System operator and Help Desk Support will ensure that all faults are logged in the fault management system and are escalated appropriately.

- Feedback is returned to users once issue is resolved, provided appropriate input for daily production meeting to ensure that all faults / incidents are correctly assigned.

-To continuously identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of the Computer Centre and the systems / technology used.

 -To provide first line support to all the trusted users.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related fields

 -01 or 02 years’ experience in supporting end Users & as IT Desktop Technician

- Able to work on shift system
