SGS (Mauritius) LTD is hiring an IT Support / Admin officer.

 

Job Description:

The IT Support / Admin Officer will be responsible for providing efficient first-level IT support across both the Vehicle Examination Center and Phoenix office, ensuring operational continuity and system stability. The role includes IT troubleshooting, user support, and basic administrative support, particularly with tools critical to business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide frontline IT support to end-users for hardware, software, printers, network, and email issues.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts, profiles, and permissions in line with company policy.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Windows servers, network infrastructure, and Azure-hosted environments.
  • Provide support and basic administration for Microsoft tools, including Office 365 and Teams.
  • Assist with the maintenance and user support of the company’s CRM tools.
  • Generate basic operational reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Ensure timely updates of IT inventory and service records.
  • Support daily administrative functions, including documentation, filing, and coordination tasks.
  • Coordinate IT onboarding/offboarding tasks.
  • Comply with internal IT policies, data protection, and cybersecurity standards.

Candidate Profile:

  • Diploma or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years’ experience in an IT support role, ideally in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
    • CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent)
    • Power BI for reporting and data visualization
    • Windows Server environment (user/group policy, AD)
    • Azure cloud infrastructure and administration
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and user-service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
  • Flexible and proactive, with a keen eye for continuous improvement.
