MOORE (Mauritius) LLP, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Officer to manage recruitment, employee administration, performance management, training, and employee relations, while ensuring compliance with the Workers’ Rights Act 2019.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for all staff levels, including graduate intake.

  • Prepare and administer employment contracts and HR documentation in line with the Workers’ Rights Act 2019.

  • Coordinate onboarding, induction, and probation reviews.

  • Administer leave, attendance, and working time records.

  • Administer performance appraisal and promotion processes.

  • Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures in compliance with Mauritian labour laws.

  • Coordinate staff training and professional qualification support (ACCA, ICAEW).

  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare management HR reports.

  • Support employee engagement and staff well-being initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ HR experience in Mauritius.

  • Strong working knowledge of the Workers’ Rights Act 2019.

  • Experience in a professional services, accounting, audit, legal, or consulting environment will be an advantage.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HR systems is an advantage.
