Handyman (Maintenance)

Orange Business Services Mauritius Ltd, is looking for a multi-skills maintenance person who will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the premises, and will be expected to do plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical and other light repair jobs.

Main responsibilities

• General Facilities maintenance and light repairs
• Identification, reporting  and advising on the need for major repairs
• Paint jobs and filling of gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc
• Light plumbing jobs as and when required
• Light electrical jobs as assigned
• Supervise tradespeople for all major electrical, plumbing works or HVAC repairs
• Undertake duties as assigned  (e.g. moving furniture, small carpenter jobs ) or emergency tasks

Preferred Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years’ experience - with hardware tools and electrical equipment
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems
• Attention to detail and well-organized
• Flexible and willing to work out of office hours including weekends/paid overtime.

• Relevant IVTB/MITD certificate in Electromechanical and/or building services.
