Graphic Designer

Archemics Ltd is a subsidiary of Harel Mallac & Co. Ltd is recruiting a Graphic Designer.

Responsiblities:

Project Development:

Meets with clients to discuss the objectives and requirements of the project
Interprets the client's business needs and develops a concept to suit their purpose
Estimates the time required to complete the work and providing quotes for clients

Project/Graphic Design:

Develops design briefs by gathering information and data through research;
Comes up with strategies for layouts and artistic concepts
Works with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD);
Proofreads to produce accurate and high-quality work;
Modifies, revises and edits projects as required by the client.
Stays within timelines and deadlines for completion dates for projects.

Creative Thinking/Designing:

Creates and develops new and unique ideas and concepts to represent an idea.
Makes use of innovate techniques to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time.
Creates visual images that engage, attract and sell.
Keeps abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programmes such as Quark Xpress, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3D Studio, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash, as most graphic design work is now completed on a computer.

Requirements :

Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
Certificate/Diploma in Graphic Design.
Minimum of one year experience in Graphic Design.
conversant with desktop publishing tools such as FrameMaker, Acrobat Exchange, QuarkExpress, Illustrator/Freehand, Indesign Photoshop or PageMaker.
Good communication skills.
Good level of written and spoken English and French.
Creative thinking.
Artistic abilities eye for details.
