Finance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial health of our organization in Madagascar. The ideal candidate will be ACCA-qualified with at least five years of post-qualification experience.

EXPATRIATION OPPORTUNITY

Location: Madagascar

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in coordination with department heads

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls

• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies

• Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and risks

• Support senior management in strategic decision-making through financial insights

• Supervise and mentor a team of junior accountants and finance staff

• Manage cash flow, treasury, and banking relationships

• Develop and improve financial systems, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

• ACCA qualification (fully qualified)

• Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience

• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards

• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems)

• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling)

• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in [industry: e.g., manufacturing, FMCG, services, etc.]

• Exposure to multi-currency environments

• Prior experience working in an international or multicultural setting
