We are looking for result-driven Quality Assurance Engineers to be responsible for designing and running tests on software usability. The Software Tester will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations to the design team.

 

We are looking for result-driven Quality Assurance Engineers to be responsible for designing and running tests on software usability. The Software Tester will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations to the design team.

To be successful as a QA Engineer, you should have a working knowledge of software and test design, the capability to run thorough tests, and the ability to analyze the results. Ultimately, the software tester should be result-driven, have good communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of software programming and software test design.

Profile:
  • BSc/MSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Tester(Desktop apps, API, Web) or similar role.
  • Passionate about software development, testing and problem solving.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to test non-functional requirements in areas such as performance, reliability, scalability, security, and extensibility.
  • Automated testing professional experience would be a plus.
  • ISTQB-CTFL certification would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps Test Plans Tool would be a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.

Key areas of responsibility:
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Conduct functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
  • Carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing, and scalability testing.
  • Design and develop automation scripts when needed.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
  • Provide training and support to other team members on QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Actively participate in retrospectives and post-mortem discussions to improve testing processes and prevent future issues.

Working Hours:
Working hours are 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
You might be required to work overnight and on weekends (during periods of low usage) when maintenance and deployment work needs to be undertaken.
