In this role, you'll be responsible for the precise input, verification, and management of programme scheduling data using specialized software. Your Playbook: Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry and Operations Specialist, your primary focus will be on the accurate and efficient handling of programme data. This includes:
- Data Entry & Verification:
- Inputting daily and monthly programme schedules into our specialized scheduling software (similar to advanced spreadsheet applications).
- Thoroughly verifying data to identify and correct any overlapping programmes, logical errors, or inconsistencies.
- Ensuring all data adheres to strict broadcasting guidelines and rights agreements.
- Problem Solving & Error Spotting:
- Applying strong logical reasoning to proactively identify potential programming conflicts or errors before they occur.
- Investigating and resolving data discrepancies with precision and efficiency.
- Data Management:
- Assisting with the maintenance of the programme library and tracking programme rights inventory.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate flow of scheduling information to relevant departments.
- Reporting & Communication:
- Generating reports on programming data as required.
- Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding scheduling updates and data-related queries, both verbally and in writing.
Skills You'll Bring:
- Exceptional Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to data entry and verification is paramount.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse information, identify issues, and apply logical reasoning to find solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level required), including the ability to use complex formulas, pivot tables, and data validation for analysis and error checking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook for communication and reporting.
- Experience with Tabular Data Systems: Comfortable working with specialized scheduling or database software that involves entering and verifying data in tables (experience with similar tabular data entry systems is a plus).
- Excellent Communication: Strong formal English written and spoken communication skills are required for internal and external interactions.
- Organizational Prowess: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Aptitude for Learning: Eagerness and ability to quickly learn new software and internal systems.
Work Setup:
- Full-time: 5 days/week (Monday – Saturday).
- UK Hours: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (Mauritius Time).
- Office Location: Plaine Lauzun Call Centre (Industrial Zone).
- Commute Support: Assistance available for eligible regions.
