Job Title: Kitchen Cook
About the Role
Our client, based in the western region of the island, is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Cook to join their culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist with daily food preparation, buffet service, pastry and breakfast production, and mise en place tasks. This position offers excellent exposure to a professional kitchen environment with opportunities for skill development.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily food preparation, including mise en place.
- Prepare breakfast items, pastries, and hot and cold buffet dishes.
- Ensure proper organisation, hygiene, and cleanliness of the kitchen area.
- Support the Chef de Cuisine in daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 00:00
- Saturday: 07:00 – 00:00
- Sunday: 07:00 – 00:00
(Work schedules are on a rotational basis.)
Remuneration & Benefits
- Basic Salary: as per experience
- Overtime: Provided as applicable

Profile Required
- Experience: 1–3 years in a similar role
- Education: Minimum Form 3
- Language: English, French, Creole
- Other Requirements:
- Must reside in or around Chamarel, Petite Rivière Noire, or Chamouny due to location accessibility.
- Strong motivation and ability to work flexible hours.
