Construction Surveyor

Assist in all quantity surveying activities and follow-up ongoing projects.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with sub-contractors, prepare subcontract agreement and progress payment as per allowable
Prepare and follow up monthly application of payment certificates with all relevant back up
Follow up on variation works and pricing of same on a constant basis
Prepare cost report and monitoring of cost for on-going contracts
Liaise with consultant/client for final account and attend meeting
Assist the estimating team for pricing of tenders, as and when required
Perform evaluation of progress of works for Factory/Sites claims and invoicing
Notify client/project managers on all contractual matters
Carry out site survey when required

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Fully conversant with shop drawings and construction drawings
Minimum 5 years of experience acquired preferably in a joinery and contracting environment

Other Requisites:

Quick response for resolving operational issues
Self-organised and flexible on working hours
Sharp in taking off quantities from plans and preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
