The MCCI Business School is seeking a full‑time lecturer to deliver some courses in Brevet de technicien Supérieur Communication. The program prepares students for careers in public relations, digital communication, media, and corporate communications.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach both general and professional modules of the BTS Communication curriculum, including communication strategy, media planning, digital tools, PR, events, legal & economic fundamentals.
  • Design lesson plans, oversee assignments and exams in accordance with French academic standards.
  • Supervise student projects and internships (typically 12–14 week work placements), ensuring link between theory and practice.
  • Provide academic advising and monitor students’ progress.
  • Participate in curriculum development, recruitment, quality assurance, seminars, and institutional events.
  • Master’s degree in communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a closely related field.
  • Prior experience in communication practice and/or teaching is preferable but not essential.
  • Excellent proficiency in French, both written and spoken
  • Strong proficiency in using digital, institutional and interpersonal communication tools
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree in communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a closely related field.
  • Prior experience in communication practice and/or teaching is preferable but not essential.

  • Strong proficiency in using digital, institutional and interpersonal communication tools
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively.

Job Details & Conditions

Appointment Type: Full‑time academic staff

Teaching Mode: In‑person lectures, tutorials, project supervision

Student Cohorts: Class sizes typically 20–30 students per cohort

Workload: Weekly teaching hours plus office hours, project supervision, departmental participation

Compensation Estimate: Based on local academic norms, competitive monthly salary Exact salary and benefits will depend on institutional structure, experience, and negotiation.
