The role of a Business Development Executive-SME involves building and maintaining client relationships, presenting Emtel's products and services, and achieving sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering business growth in the SME market.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Prospection & Lead Generation
- Conduct daily on-field prospection visits to identify potential SME customers across different business zones.
- Build a pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, referrals, and market mapping.
- Identify business needs and propose suitable Emtel solutions (e.g. Internet, Cloud or Security solutions)
- Maintain updated market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer trends.
Sales Execution & Follow-up
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations during fairs.
- Ensure conversion of leads into confirmed sales and achieve assigned monthly sales targets.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth activation and service delivery.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain regular contact with customers for follow-up on service quality
- Provide after-sales support and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Record customer interactions and update CRM tools with accurate data on visits and deals.
Reporting & Market Feedback
- Submit daily and weekly reports on trade visits, leads, and sales achievements.
- Provide market insights, customer feedback, and competitor information to management for strategy refinement.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum HSC holder with (2) two years of experiences in the sales field or customer service
- Experience in dealing face to face with customers is recommended
Required Skills and Aptitudes:
- Good communication skills (both French and English)
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required
- Effective time management and planning skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mind
- Eye for details and ensure excellence in service and branding
- Candidate should possess a valid car driving liscence and a car
