We are looking for a bookkeeper to join the growing team at Offshore. The candidate should hold a degree in accounting/finance or business + ideally have experience using QuickBooks.
Main responsibilities
Perform monthly bank imports and reconciliations for multiple entities using QuickBooks.
Assist with the onboarding and setup of new entities within QuickBooks, including chart of accounts configuration and system mapping
Liaise effectively with the Payroll team to resolve discrepancies, clarify transactions, and ensure correct postings.
Review and maintain appropriate balance sheet classifications and captions to ensure proper financial statement presentation.
Clear and reconcile fees on a monthly basis
Process and post accounting adjustments approved by Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Skills/experience
Educational background – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (candidates from other degree disciplines with strong numerical aptitude will also be considered).
Strong numerical & analytical skills – High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately with financial data, reconciliations, and account classifications.
Technical aptitude – Comfortable learning accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks), performing bank imports, and working with spreadsheets and financial software.
Communication & teamwork skills – Able to liaise effectively with Payroll and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial postings.
