Assistant Accountant who will support the smooth running of our finance department. This role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting reporting.
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable and receivable data.
- Assist in payroll processing by verifying payroll data in coordination with the Human Resources department.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Prepare and review reconciliations for bank accounts, suppliers, and intercompany balances.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and information.
- Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Assist in financial analysis and variance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Experience in preparing financial statements, handling reconciliations, and supporting audits
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Sicorax HRMS Payroll
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Relevant experience in the healthcare or hotel industry is a plus
