Our client in the ICT sector is seeking to recruit an Assistant Software Manager who has a blend of technical expertise, Leadership skills and Project Management capabilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, motivate and mentor teams of IT professionals.
  • Ensure high quality Software delivery while remaining within committed schedules.
  • Capability to value and promote the Company's software services and solutions.
  • Ensure timely project delivery while adhering to software development methodologies and best practices.
  • High standard project proposal submission to secure new projects.
Profiles:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, or related field.
  • A Master degree or an MBA will be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Experience in liaising with customers and conduct presentations/meetings.
  • Project Management Certifications like PMP ( Project Management Professional) or Agile certifications would be beneficial.
  • Strong technical background and expertise in software development, combined with effective leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Python Java and JavaScript would constitute an advantage.
  • Awareness in emerging technologies and trends in SW development.
  • Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
