Our client in the medical sector is seeking to recruit an Accounts Officer.
Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain general ledger, journals, and financial records.
- Record daily financial transactions accurately.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial data.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Process vendor invoices and payments.
- Prepare customer invoices and monitor collections.
- Reconcile supplier and customer statements.
Bank & Account Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements regularly.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor cash flow and balances.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support management with financial data and analysis.
Budget & Expense Monitoring:
- Assist in preparing budgets.
- Track expenses against budget allocations.
- Report variances to management.
Profile:
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Oracle).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
