Our client in the medical sector is seeking to recruit an Accounts Officer.

 

Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:
  • Maintain general ledger, journals, and financial records.
  • Record daily financial transactions accurately.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial data.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  • Process vendor invoices and payments.
  • Prepare customer invoices and monitor collections.
  • Reconcile supplier and customer statements.

Bank & Account Reconciliation:
  • Reconcile bank statements regularly.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor cash flow and balances.

Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support management with financial data and analysis.

Budget & Expense Monitoring:
  • Assist in preparing budgets.
  • Track expenses against budget allocations.
  • Report variances to management.
Profile:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Oracle).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
