Accounts Officer

We are looking for a reliable Accounts Officer to support our Accounting Team. The role involves day-to-day accounting tasks and financial record-keeping for our different companies.

 About the Role

At C.R.S.E Ltee, we are seeking for someone with a minimum of 1 year of accounting experience to join our Accounting Team, in Pointe Aux Sables. You will report to the Accounts & Finance Executive and Managing Director.

This unique role will be split between the CRSE and its sister companies making up a full-time role.

As an Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including bank reconciliations, invoicing preparation, cheque preparation and  performing banking as and when needed. You will assist in the preparation of month-end MRA and group financial reports and handle ad hoc reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate data entry in Quickbooks
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payment to suppliers according to payment arrangement.
• Preparation of Invoices - Handling of Receivables
• Follow up of Receivables to limit bad debts
• Bank Reconciliations: Ensuring that the company's financial records match the bank statements.
• Processing receipts of Cash, Cheques, Bank Transfers etc for Accounts Receivables in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Ability to prepare Monthly Returns: VAT / TDS Return
• Assist with Filing of Financial Statement
• Assist with Audit and Tax Preparation when necessary
• Reporting: Handling various reporting and assisting in other administrative and operational tasks as needed, for the well-functioning of the company

Profile

• HSC with accounting background; ACCA Level 1 is an advantage
• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word
• Manual Driving Licence and/or Motorcycle licence
• Knowledge of Quickbooks – is an advantage
