The Accounts Officer will be responsible for maintaining financial records, running reports, and recording a wide range of transactions. The duties include providing administrative assistance to Accountants as well as preparing statements that confirm the accuracy of database information.
YOUR ROLE:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
- Perform reconciliation of daily and monthly revenues
- Manage bank account deposits
- Perform account payable and receivable transactions
- Bookkeeping and general accounting
- Assist with regular bank reconciliations
- Participate in month end account closing activities
- Provide assistance and support to Senior Accounts Officers
- Maintain confidentiality and security of bank accounts
YOUR PROFILE:
- ACCA Level 1 completed
- At least 1 – 3 years of experience in the relevant field
- Well-versed with Microsoft tools
- Excellent level of spoken and written French and English
- Attention to details needed
- Good time management
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Be a good team player
- Disciplined
