ELECTRICIAN GRADE 1 (AXESS LIMITED)

The Electrician Grade 1 is responsible to install, maintain, identify faults, and repair electrical wiring and computer-based equipment in motor vehicles and related equipment

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

•  Diagnose the various electrical systems as per the manufacturers’ guidelines.  (eg: the CAN system for faults, charging system, fuel system etc…)
• Change ECUs and perform the start-up procedure.
• Work on the manufacturers’ platform for all official Communication for repairs and technical concerns.
• Carry out complex repairs as per the manufactures’ guidelines.
• Use Scan tools to detect electrical faults on the vehicles on-board electrical systems (OBD).
• Be able to read & interpret wiring diagrams.
• Repairs to the air conditioning system of the vehicle

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• MITD NC3 in Electronics
• City & Guilds Level 2
