The candidate will oversee and coordinate all fire alarm system installations on site, ensuring works are executed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, safety regulations, and quality standards, while meeting programme deadlines
Key responsibilties:
- Supervise and coordinate the installation of fire alarm systems including detection devices, control panels, sounders, manual call points, and associated cabling.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure correct installation.
- Conduct regular inspections and snag lists to ensure work quality meets specification requirements.
- Ensure all materials and equipment used are approved and correctly certified.
- Maintain up-to-date as-built records and site documentation.
- Ensure fire alarm systems are tested, commissioned, and handed over in accordance with project requirements.
Qualification:
- Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in site engineering with a focus on fire alarm systems.
- Solid knowledge of fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional), relevant standards, and testing procedures.
