We are seeking a proactive IT Support Officer to provide daily technical support. The role offers exposure to AI, automation, and digital initiatives while assisting the IT Systems Lead. Ideal for a motivated learner eager to grow skills over time.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & Operations
- Provide first- and second-level technical support to end users.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Support operating systems, productivity tools, email, and collaboration platforms.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and basic security tasks.
- Maintain documentation for IT procedures, issues, and resolutions.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the IT Systems Lead when required.
Systems & Infrastructure Support
- Assist with routine maintenance of IT systems, networks, and cloud services.
- Perform system checks, updates, and basic monitoring tasks.
- Support backup processes and cybersecurity best practices.
AI & Automation (Learning & Support Role)
- Support the IT Systems Lead on AI and automation initiatives in a learning capacity.
- Assist with small, well-defined tasks such as testing, documentation, data preparation, and basic configuration.
- Help monitor automated processes and report issues or improvement opportunities.
- Gradually take on more responsibility as skills and confidence develop.
- Participate in training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and hands-on learning related to AI and automation tools.
- Follow established guidelines and instructions rather than independently designing solutions.
Learning & Development
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new tools, systems, and technologies.
- Actively seek feedback and guidance from senior IT staff.
- Show continuous improvement in technical capability over time.
