Stock Controller (2541-SC)

Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking to recruit a dynamic Stock Controller who will report to the Managing Director. The ideal candidate shall be responsible to exert permanent control on the stock of both raw materials and finished products.

 He/she shall ensure that there are no deviations in stock and table reports accordingly. The ideal candidate shall also ensure the accuracy of all figures submitted and report deviations with explanations. He/she shall also act as backup for the Stock Clerk.

Responsibilities:

• Check and balance stocks based on evidence.
• Generate reports on stock levels, pricing, and supply chain efficiency.
• Place orders to restock inventory based on demand forecasts.
• Negotiate with vendors, manage purchase details and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, address delays and verify product quality.
• Implement strategies to minimize theft, damage, and discrepancies in stock.
• Ensure purchases align with financial constraints and company policies.
• Oversee proper storage conditions, particularly for fragile or perishable items.
• Generate reports on stock levels, pricing, and supply chain efficiency.
• Meet Deadlines.
• Perform any other cognate duties.

Profile:

• A Diploma in Supply Chain Management.
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar post.
• Relevant academic qualifications pertaining to stock Management.
