Promote a professional and positive image to all of our guests and contribute to the hotels targets by providing and coordinating a rapid response to relevant employee requests, inquiries, needs and general staff welfare.
1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update manual and computerized employee records, legal documents, policies and procedures and other personnel matters.
- Responsible for the maintenance of employee Medical Scheme.
- Ensure all letters and phone calls for HR are being replied in a timely manner.
- Keep an orderly and updated filing system of personal files and other related filing process and update leave forms for employees then forward them to HRD for approval.
- Keep a log book of all files for control purposes.
- Keep a record of all files transferred to the Archives.
- Co-ordinate and maintain an updated record of all full-time employees and casuals.
- Responsible for leaves acknowledgement and all HR forms.
- Daily check of Attendance Sheet in all Depts.
- Issues new employees with related forms to be filled and documents.
- Update and issue HR monthly dashboard.
- Draft memos, warning letters and testimonials.
- Update team members’ birthdays and labour force.
- Inspect staff lockers everyday and make a report to HRD on same.
- Co-ordinate staff sports and welfare activities.
- Monitoring of lockers, uniforms and grooming.
- Maintain staff notice board in clean and orderly manner.
- Transport follow up.
- Casual follow up.
- Follow up with Security.
- Follow up with HRDC.
- Attending Labour Office.
- Follow up on Occupation Permit & Work Permit application with all the relevant.
- Monitoring of dormitories and responsible for all expat houses checks,
- Report all matters affecting welfare of staff as well as the ones which might affect the smooth running of the hotel.
- Ensure that matters of confidential nature are not discussed with unauthorised persons and ensure that copies of manual and policies are not supposed to be given to competitors neither are business transactions supposed to be discussed with them.
