We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Operations Specialist (Livestock) to join ER Agri Limited.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily feed production and herd operations, ensuring high quality, safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations and standards.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor feed production schedules and pasture management activities.
• Ensure proper functioning, preventive maintenance, and servicing of feed mill machinery and equipment to minimise downtime.
• Supervise veterinary treatments, vaccinations, and animal welfare programmes, maintaining accurate herd health and productivity records.
• Plan and oversee pasture management, including land preparation, seeding, irrigation, weed control, fertilisation, and sustainable grazing practices.
• Lead, coach, and supervise the operations team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Manage inventories, resources, and operational budgets efficiently while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Support management in livestock strategies, feasibility studies, and continuous process improvement.
• Enforce health, safety, hygiene, and biosecurity protocols in line with company policy and regulations.
• Provide structured reporting, operational insights, and feedback to support company objectives and decision-making.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new employees, ensuring positive employee relations.
