Velogic is currently recruiting two Accounting Interns (3 months) – one for the Local Treasury Department and one for the Foreign Treasury Department.

Duties & Responsibilities

Depending on the department assigned, your tasks may include:

Local Treasury Department

• Assist in preparing remittance details and reprinting invoices upon client requests.

• Help prepare expected payment lists and send reminders to clients.

• Support reconciliation of client and intercompany accounts.

• Assist with the preparation and follow-up of credit contracts.

• Help in organizing and archiving debtor records.

• Provide administrative and clerical support to the finance team.

Foreign Treasury Department

• Assist in monitoring foreign treasury accounts and recoveries from agents.

• Help prepare cash flow forecasts.

• Support payment processes to foreign suppliers.

• Assist in maintaining intercompany receivable/payable records.

• Help prepare journals and payment vouchers.

• Provide support in the daily operations of the department.

Qualification & Competencies

• ACCA Level 1 or currently studying in accounting or a related field.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Good communication skills in both English and French.

• Professional attitude with a team-oriented mindset.

• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
