Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Underwriting and Technical Duties
1.1 Preparation, Submission, Recording and Follow-up of Quotations & Renewal Terms
1.2 Recording and submission of instruction to Underwriting Assistants
1.3 Risk assessment of large corporate risks
2. Portfolio Management and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
2.1 Monitoring existing clients' accounts
2.2 Providing technical guidance and assistance to internal and external customers.
2.3 Prompting growth, Up selling and Business Acquisitions
2.4 CRM duties
3. Application & Control of Processes & Procedures
3.1 Daily distribution of tasks
3.2 Checking of Policy Documents
3.3 Updating of Transaction Follow Up (TFU)
3.4 Follow up of "Customer Due Dilligence" documents submission
3.5 Assist in Process improvements
3.6 Assist in Statistics analysis, viz., Conversion Rates, Retention Rates, Renewal Protocol and Lost Accounts
4. Any other Cognate Duties which may arise in connection to the business requirements.
Candidate's Profile:
- A degree in Management / Economics / Finance or other field acceptable to the Company, or professional insurance qualifications (e.g. of the CII) or progress towards such qualifications will constitute an advantage
- At least 2 years’ working experience in the insurance industry
- Excellent customer-service skills
- Self-Organisation
- Accuracy and attention to details
- Capability to effectively handle multiple tasks
