A dynamic travel company based in Port Louis is looking for an experienced Travel Designer to join its team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating unique travel experiences, possess strong industry knowledge, and have excellent interpersonal skills. This is a client-facing role that requires a blend of creativity, precision, and dedication to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and coordinate customized travel itineraries tailored to client preferences.

Manage reservations and bookings using Amadeus and/or Galileo systems.

Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the booking process.

Represent the company at events like Salon du Prêt à Partir and similar industry fairs.

Provide after-hours support during assigned shifts as part of the 24/7 emergency assistance rotation.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Prepare proposals and presentations using Microsoft Office tools.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel industry.

Proven experience in a client-facing role.

Proficiency with Amadeus and/or Galileo reservation systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Team-oriented, adaptable, and detail-focused.

Pleasant, professional personality with a customer-first approach.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00

Saturday: 09:00 – 12:00 (currently remote; subject to change)

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: Rs. 30,000 – Rs. 35,000 (commensurate with experience)

Additional benefits: bus fare, pension, health insurance, personal accident cover

Extra pay for work at external events outside normal hours

Additional compensation for 24/7 urgent service duty (weekly rotation basis)
