You will support the coordination of application development projects across diverse insurance domains, ensuring alignment with Swan’s SDLC framework. By leveraging Agile methodologies and tools, you’ll manage timelines, track progress, and drive cross-functional collaboration. Your role will involve preparing high-level project updates, addressing delivery challenges, and ensuring transparency through consistent documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the delivery of application development projects across business units (Pension, Life, Health, Swan Wealth, etc.)
- Ensure that all software development projects are executed in line with the company’s SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) framework.
- Monitor timelines, deliverables, and coordinate with developers, testers, and business users
- Maintain project dashboards, milestones, and sprint tracking using agile project tools
- Assist in the preparation of project progress updates/report for presentation to the project steering committee
- Identify delays or challenges and work with relevant teams to resolve them
- Ensure documentation, meeting notes, and action items are consistently maintained
- Incorporate feedback from internal and external stakeholders to adjust to project changes.
Your skills & expertise:
- 2+ years of experience coordinating software or application development projects
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with SDLC principles and project governance processes
- Experience with project collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, AzureDevops..etc)
- Highly organized and task oriented
- Ability to understand and communicate between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus but not mandatory
- Experience working in a cross-functional, fast-paced development environment
- BA / BSc Information Systems, or a related computing field
