Preskil Island Resort is currently seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our F&B team as Trainee Waiter/Waitress. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and eager to gain hands-on experience in a resort dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival at the restaurant or dining area.
Assist in setting up tables, arranging utensils, and maintaining a clean dining environment.
Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner (under supervision).
Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and reporting issues to supervisors.
Learn menu items, specials, and ingredients to assist with basic guest inquiries.
Clear tables and assist with resetting after guest departures.
Maintain hygiene and safety standards at all times.
Support the team during buffet services, special events, and high-occupancy periods.
Participate in training sessions and development programs provided by the resort.
Friendly, energetic, and eager to learn with a positive attitude.
Good grooming, hygiene, and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Basic understanding of English or French; both languages are an advantage.
Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
