Trainee Laboratory Technician - 3 Months
Responsibilities:
Assist in the execution of laboratory tests and support all activities related to established test methods.
Assist with sample collection processes in a timely and accurate manner.
Support the team in ensuring full compliance with testing requirements, including correct application of methods, standards, and regulatory tolerances.
Assist in the upkeep of laboratory equipment, ensuring it remains well-maintained, fully operational, and calibrated according to defined protocols.
Support proper handling and disposal of samples in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Profile:
- Qualifications: BSc in either Degree in Biological science/ Food science
- Knowledge of quality management system (ISO 17025)
- Holder of a clean and active certificate of character.
- Possess good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach.
- Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written skills. (English/French)
